Supplements (End of Year)
If you receive FTB during the year, you may get an end-of-year supplement after lodging your tax return: FTB Part A supplement up to $916.15 per child, FTB Part B supplement up to $430.70 per family. These are paid after the end of the financial year once your actual income is confirmed.
Payment Options
You can receive FTB fortnightly (based on estimated income) or as a lump sum after the end of the financial year. Fortnightly gives you cash flow now but risks a debt if your actual income exceeds your estimate. Lump sum means waiting but no debt risk.
