How CCS Is Calculated

Your subsidy percentage depends on family income. The government pays that percentage of the hourly fee (capped at $14.63/hour for centre-based care). You pay the gap.

From 5 January 2026, all eligible families get at least 3 days (72 hours/fortnight) of subsidised care regardless of work status — the 3-Day Guarantee.
